Meet the professional behind the training

Learn to plan, control
and manage project delivery.

My work brings together field execution, corporate planning and project controls. Across EPC, steel, mining and infrastructure environments, I have learned to connect the schedule with the conditions that make execution possible.

Through Wiznic World, I teach project planning, project controls and practical project management. Engineers work through scope, execution methods, quantities, resource needs, costs and progress information, then use Primavera P6 to build and maintain the schedule. The purpose is to explain project status, assess the options and support management decisions.

Industry perspective

Experience across the
interfaces that shape a project.

A schedule connects technical work with procurement, site readiness and delivery commitments. My professional background spans the environments where those interfaces matter.

01

EPC & industrial projects

Engineering, procurement and construction sequencing, with attention to the dependencies between disciplines and work packages.

02

Steel & mining

Industrial project planning, monitoring and operational interfaces, including commissioning and shutdown coordination experience.

03

Highways & infrastructure

Construction sequencing, resource needs and progress information that help teams connect the planning office with site execution.

27+ years of project experience

My professional experience spans field execution, corporate planning and consulting assignments across EPC, steel, mining, infrastructure, power, and oil and gas. That breadth shapes how I approach schedules: as a practical connection between scope, resources, procurement and execution.

Scheduling consultancy experience

I have been engaged as a scheduling consultant on assignments involving EIL, L&T, NCC, B&R, Zeeco India, Paramount Limited and OBCC. These assignments have informed my practical approach to project schedules, progress reporting and the planning decisions I discuss in training.

Creating space for Wiznic World

Alongside industry roles and work with consulting firms, I have made deliberate career choices to devote time to building Wiznic World’s training business. Primavera teaching has been part of my work since 2007. My focus is helping engineers understand project planning, develop sound judgement and apply Primavera P6 to real project situations.

Current professional responsibilities

I currently serve as GM, Project Planning, Contracts & Project Procurement Head at Balasore Alloys Limited. My training and consulting work through Wiznic World is presented separately from this employment role.

The Logic-Based Management Framework

The reasoning
behind the schedule.

I developed LBMF to connect project management thinking with the decisions engineers face during planning and execution. Primavera P6 provides the scheduling environment; the learning focus is how to plan the work, measure performance and decide what action is needed.

The learning focus is the work, the assumptions behind the plan, and the consequences of a decision.

01

Understand
the work

Read the scope, quantities and execution method. Identify interfaces and the conditions required before work can begin.

02

Build
the logic

Connect activities, calendars, durations and resource assumptions to a delivery method the team can explain.

03

Measure
what matters

Use clear progress criteria and consistent inputs to connect the baseline with remaining work and forecast movement.

04

Explain
the decision

Use the schedule and reports to discuss priorities, constraints and the actions required from the project team.

What the training connects

From project scope
to informed decisions.

Training brings together project management context, project controls and Primavera P6 application. Practical exercises use project data, BOQs, estimation cases and reporting requirements to connect the three.

01 · Management context

Understand how the project will be delivered

  • Scope, stakeholders, execution methods and work sequencing
  • Quantity estimation, BOQ interpretation and progress weightages
  • Tendering, RFP/RFQ documentation, contracts and billing interfaces
  • Risk, quality and SHE considerations in planning
02 · Planning & controls

Measure performance and explain the next action

  • Resource productivity, manpower and equipment requirements
  • Baselines, progress measurement and look-ahead planning
  • Cost forecasting, earned value and cash-flow interpretation
  • Delay analysis, recovery options, MIS, S-curves and dashboards
03 · Primavera P6 application

Apply the logic in a working schedule

  • Project setup, WBS, calendars, activities and relationships
  • Resource and cost loading linked to planning assumptions
  • Schedule updates, comparisons and forecast analysis
  • Reports that help communicate priorities and constraints

A connected practical exercise

Interpret a work package and its BOQ → define the execution sequence → estimate resources and costs → build the schedule in P6 → update progress → explain forecast movement and propose corrective action.

Guidance is tailored to engineers, planners and cost controllers. Discuss the depth of each topic and the project exercises suited to your responsibilities.
